"BRAZILEIROS" is a project that began in 2010 but not yet over. The aim is to tell the stories of Brazilians immigrants around the world.. The basic theme of the work is the personal interpretation of "Saudade" (nostalgia), as they deal with the feeling, what are the challenges and prospects of life outside Brazil, as well as the ability to integrate in the new world. A sincere and passionate account of the difficulties, sorrows and joys experienced by those brave Brazilians. Photographs are always performed in their homes, to capture all the intimacy and integration that each developed with the new place that they call “home”.
“BRAZILEIROS” é um projeto que começou em 2010 mas ainda não acabou. O objetivo é contar as estórias dos imigrantes Brasileiros ao redor do mundo. O tema fundamental do trabalho é a interpretação pessoal da “Saudade”, como eles lidam com o sentimento, quais os desafios e as perspectivas da vida fora do Brasil, assim como a capacidade de integração no novo mundo. Um relato sincero e apaixonante das dificuldades, tristezas e alegrias vividos por esses Brasileiros corajosos. As fotografias são sempre realizadas nas próprias casas, para captar toda a intimidade e a integração que cada um desenvolveu com o país que agora eles chamam de“casa”.
